An exhibition of photographs by members of the Upper Valley Art League will open on Friday, March 12, 2021 at the Kika de la Garza Fine Arts Center Gallery.
After a hiatus due to the COVID pandemic, this year’s exhibition will showcase various styles of photography ranging from traditional, digital and mobile created by UVAL members. Exhibition coordinator Cyndee Galindo quotes, “It has been a difficult time to get creative. As artists, we must continue to believe in our work and keep creating photography that makes us happy. A photograph has the ability to convey stories to those that view them. We invite you to experience the emotion, mood, narrative, and messages that these photographs communicate.”
The exhibit will be on display from March 12 to April 3, 2021 at the Kika de la Garza Fine Arts Center Gallery which is located at 921 E. 12th Street in Mission, Texas. All visitors must wear a mask and maintain social distancing while in the gallery.
The event is free and the public is welcomed to attend this exhibition.
Gallery hours: Thursday/Friday from 10:00am to 6:00pm & Saturday from 10:00am to 2:00pm
